About the League

 

• ​The Oxfordshire Quiz league has been running for many years.

​

• Would you or your pub like to join the Oxfordshire Thursday Night Quiz League?
   

• Teams are of up to 5, playing home and away with regular, communal 'Tabletop’ quizzes through the season.
   

• The quiz itself lasts about 2 hours
   

• There are no individual questions.
   

• It is made up of a winter season (October-April) and a smaller summer season (May-September).
   

• Teams play in leagues, head to head, both home and away every Thursday night at a great variety of Oxford city and country pubs.
   

• All you need is room for two tables and someone to ask the questions, which are posted to the venue
   

• Throughout the season there are a number of communal table-top quizzes at larger venues, where the teams meet to contest the quiz together.
   

• The Summer League started on 9th May and will finish on September 19th, 2024
   

• The Oxfordshire Quiz is a very cheap fun evening in the pub costing less than a pound per person per evening.
   

• Join in, have fun, get out and about!
